Sin is not a moral problem, but an authority problem with moral consequences. It is a force that undermines our capacity to trust. The only way we know how to respond to this broken trust is attempting to control our circumstances. As long as we continue to think of sin as a behavioral dilemma, behavior modification will remain our only solution to the difficulty. But, there is a better way - one that leads to freedom and purpose. We have been designed to live in God's Kingdom ruled by His love. He invites us to live within a way that makes the rules obsolete. Redemption is always available. The redemption Christ provides is the only system in which humans can flourish and find the freedom they crave.
